What You’ll Do

• Design and build new features for the Android app used by business owners across Europe.
• Architect and implement solutions for multi-account cash flow management, banking transactions and payments, card issuance and management, and AI-powered accounting automation.
• Build polished, responsive UIs using Jetpack Compose.
• Own code quality, performance, and stability with automated testing and thorough code reviews.
• Collaborate with Backend, QA, Design, and Product teams to shape end-to-end solutions.
• Drive technical decisions, challenge assumptions, and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, tooling, and mobile best practices.

Who You Are

• Pragmatic with a proven track record of shipping impactful products.
• Strong knowledge of Kotlin and 5+ years of commercial Android development.
• Deep understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, and Clean Architecture.
• Experienced with presentation layer patterns: MVI, MVVM, MVP.
• Hands-on with RxJava, Kotlin Coroutines/Flow, Dagger 2/Hilt/Koin, Retrofit, Cicerone, Jetpack Navigation Component, Jetpack Compose.
• Practical experience with Firebase (FCM, Analytics, Crashlytics).
• Experience with Feature-module architecture in production.
• Proficient with Git/GitLab and CI/CD setup.
• Clear communicator in English across technical and non-technical audiences.

Nice to Have

• Background in fintech or financial products.
• Knowledge of mobile security best practices.
• Experience profiling and optimizing UI performance.
• Familiarity with Android Profiler, Perfetto, Baseline Profiles.
• Published apps on Google Play.
• Active GitHub profile.
• Experience with AI agents, LLM tools, and AI-powered IDE tools.
• Understanding of AI model capabilities, evaluation, and security risks.
