Android Developer

About Us

As an Android Developer, you will be responsible for everything related to Android: from developing the mobile frontend of our latest product to extending our widely used apps with new features. Together, we ensure that we optimally support our users during the next thunderstorm, timetable change, or hiking trip. We develop both our own products like Fluid Meteo, Flesk, EchoSOS, or Viadi, as well as solutions in cooperation with partners such as SBB, Post, or MeteoSwiss. In addition to actual development, you will also be partly responsible for ensuring that the Android team is always prepared for future challenges: always staying close to the latest technologies in the Android world. We are looking for experienced developers who are already familiar with the Android world and for whom "Shared Element Transitions" or "Recompositions" are not foreign words. Together with you, we will continue to meet the growing number of our users and projects.

What You Bring With You

• Completed degree in Computer Science or a related field (ETH, Uni, or FH)
• Several years of experience in native Android development with Kotlin
• Knowledge of the Android SDK and other common libraries, e.g., Retrofit, Koin, etc.
• Experience in managing apps in the Google Play Store
• Passion for developing high-quality, practical apps with real added value
• Good communication skills in German
