Senior API Engineer (React, AEM, Cloud, DevOps & AI)

Job Description

• Strong hands on experience with Node.js for scalable backend systems • Advanced CI/CD and DevOps practices • Deep experience with Kafka for designing event driven architectures • Strong data modeling and optimization skills using PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, and MongoDB • Solid experience with AWS services and cloud architecture • Expertise in AWS Lambda and serverless design patterns • API design, performance tuning, and system reliability • Production support, root cause analysis, and escalation handling • Code reviews, mentoring, and technical leadership

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and own scalable backend systems using Node.js. • Architect and optimize event driven systems using Kafka. • Design efficient data models and access patterns using PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, and MongoDB. • Design and implement serverless solutions using AWS Lambda. • Drive AWS architecture decisions, performance optimization, and reliability improvements. • Lead API design, code reviews, and backend best practices. • Perform root cause analysis, handle production escalations, and drive resolutions. • Mentor engineers and provide technical guidance. • Working knowledge of React and Next.js is optional.
