Our client is seeking a highly creative Senior Apparel Graphic Designer with a strong connection to sport and basketball culture. This individual will bring a storytelling mindset and elevated design aesthetic to create impactful, original graphics across apparel collections, with a focus on tee design. This role is a hybrid model in Beaverton, Oregon.

Senior Apparel Graphic Designer Responsibilities

  • Concept, design, and execute original graphic artwork for apparel collections, with a focus on basketball-inspired tee graphics, including typography, illustrations, and layouts.
  • Develop visual narratives and seasonal graphic directions that align with product concepts and resonate with target consumers.
  • Create unique logos, marks, and graphic systems for athlete-driven and branded collections.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, development, and creative partners to bring concepts to life from ideation through final execution.
  • Participate in creative reviews, presentations, and brainstorming sessions while contributing innovative ideas and design solutions.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing short-term deliverables with longer-term creative initiatives.
  • Translate cultural, sport, and consumer insights into forward-thinking, relevant design concepts.
  • Prepare and present design concepts to internal stakeholders, incorporating feedback into refined solutions.

Senior Apparel Graphic Designer Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in apparel or graphic design, with a strong emphasis on tee or product graphics.
  • A well-developed portfolio showcasing original graphic design work, including apparel-focused projects (portfolio required).
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Strong understanding of typography, layout, color theory, and visual storytelling principles.
  • Deep connection to sport—particularly basketball—and an understanding of its culture and trends.
  • Ability to think conceptually while executing high-quality, production-ready designs.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Preferred:

  • Experience with AI-assisted visualization tools.
  • Familiarity with 3D design tools or CLO.
  • Strong eye for emerging graphic styles, fashion trends, and cultural influences.

Compensation: Up to $44/hr. (DOE)
