About the role

Overview

We’re partnering with a growing financial services organization to hire a Senior .NET Architect. This is a high-impact opportunity to help build and shape the IT function from the ground up.

You’ll play a key role in defining technical strategy, designing scalable systems, and developing enterprise-grade applications—all while working closely with a small, collaborative team.

What You’ll Do

  • Define and implement application architecture and technical strategy
  • Design, build, and maintain enterprise-level software solutions
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Identify and mitigate risks within system architecture
  • Establish and enforce development standards and best practices
  • Create reusable components to improve efficiency and scalability
  • Mentor developers and provide technical leadership
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies (standups, planning, retrospectives)
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in a computer-related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 8+ years of software development experience
  • Strong background building enterprise applications

Technical Skills:

  • C#, .NET stack
  • Windows Services & WinForms
  • OAuth / Identity Server
  • Entity Framework
  • SQL Server & SSRS

Additional Experience:

  • Document generation/management solutions
  • Establishing coding standards and best practices
  • Communicating complex technical concepts clearly
  • Ability to work independently in a team environment

Nice to Have

  • Experience in legal, mortgage, or financial services industries
  • Agile environment experience
  • Azure DevOps
