About

Precision Custom Components (PCC) is seeking a talented Senior Application Developer to join our team. This is an on-site position reporting to our manufacturing facility in York, PA.

At PCC, you’ll be part of a team that supports critical manufacturing operations through reliable, secure, and efficient technology solutions. In this role, you’ll lead complex development efforts and ensure application solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with PCC business processes.

You’ll collaborate closely with analysts and stakeholders to refine solution approaches, evaluate the feasibility of process changes, and mentor developers while contributing to system modernization and continuous improvement initiatives. This position is primarily focused on Epicor/Kinetic, but there are adjacencies and integrations with other systems.

Essential Duties of the Senior Application Developer

  • Design and implement complex application solutions, integrations, and system enhancements.
  • Evaluate business process requirements and ensure proposed solutions are technically feasible and scalable.
  • Provide technical leadership, including mentoring Application Developers and reviewing code and system designs.
  • Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to refine requirements and define effective solution approaches.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex or high-impact production issues.
  • Contribute to application standards, architecture decisions, and system modernization initiatives.
  • Promote best practices in development, documentation, testing, and deployment processes.

Education & Skills Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field required; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • 5-10 years of progressive application development experience in Epicor/Kinetic.
  • Demonstrated technical leadership and advanced problem-solving skills.
  • Strong experience with application architecture, system integrations, and scalable solution design.
  • Experience mentoring developers and leading technical initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and development best practices.
  • Ability to evaluate technical trade-offs and guide solution decisions.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • US Citizenship required at time of hire.
