In the role of Senior Application Security Architect, you will take end-to-end responsibility for the application security of a leading financial service provider. You will develop the target architecture, firmly anchor security in development processes, and advise CIO and CISO at eye level. You will actively shape a security culture that empowers developers – from the CI/CD pipeline to the supply chain. Responsibilities

• Strategic planning and implementation of application security – Development of a clear target architecture and long-term roadmap, including initial analysis and maturity assessment for various IT environments
• Security integration into development processes – Implementation of Security-by-Design and definition of Quality Gates within CI/CD pipelines
• Promotion of developer competence – Implementation of security policies and training concepts to anchor security principles in developer culture
• Supply chain security – Protection of code repositories, secret management, and artifact repositories along the entire supply chain
• Security architecture principles – Implementation of security concepts such as Least Privilege and Zero Trust, as well as secure API and service architectures
• Strategic Application Security Testing – Use of tools and test strategies to ensure application security
• Consulting at management level – Support of management in security decisions and communication of risks and priorities

Qualifications

• Completed degree in Computer Science or comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in Application Security as an Enterprise-level Architect, preferably in a regulated environment
• Sound knowledge of security standards, tools, and cloud-native security
• Experience in security integration into CI/CD processes and supply chain security
• Understanding of security architecture and the ability to communicate complex topics clearly
• German C1 / English C1
