Our client, a leading organization in the technology and security sector, is seeking a dedicated and innovative Senior Application Security Engineer – AI & SAST Automation to join their dynamic team. What's the Job?

• Develop and implement Static Application Security Testing (SAST) strategies for AI/ML codebases, ensuring robust security integration.
• Customize and enhance SAST tools to incorporate Large Language Models (LLM), AI/ML frameworks, and automate testing within CI/CD pipelines.
• Provide hands-on technical support for Checkmarx and Checkmarx ONE platforms, troubleshooting issues and driving vendor accountability for product defects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Owners, Application Security Champions, and offshore partners to ensure security best practices are integrated into development processes.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of processes, updates, and security procedures, with meticulous attention to detail.

What's Needed?

• 4+ years of application security experience, with a focus on integrating security tools into development pipelines.
• 3+ years of AI/ML development experience, utilizing frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Experience with generative AI models, reinforcement learning, and autocode remediation models.
• At least 2 years of experience working within Agile environments and using Atlassian products like Jira and Confluence.
• Strong understanding of OWASP Top 10 security risks and best practices.
