About Your New Job as Senior Architectural Technologist

• As a Senior Architectural Technologist based in Limerick, you will take a leading role in the design, coordination, and delivery of high-quality residential projects.
• Work directly with architects, project leaders, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and manage technical drawings, construction documentation, and specifications throughout all project stages.
• Oversee and coordinate technical aspects both on site and in the office, ensuring compliance with Irish Building Regulations and industry standards while maintaining design intent and quality.
• Take responsibility for problem-solving during the design and construction phases, liaising with contractors, consultants, and stakeholders to resolve technical queries.
• Mentor and guide junior staff, supporting ongoing best practice and fostering a collaborative, innovative team environment.

What Skills You Need as a Senior Architectural Technologist

• Minimum of 8 years’ relevant experience as an architectural technologist, with a substantial track record on residential projects in Ireland.
• Advanced proficiency in Revit and other relevant technical software.
• Excellent knowledge of building construction methods, detailing, and the practical application of Irish Building Regulations and residential sector standards.
• Strong experience producing, coordinating, and reviewing planning, tender, and construction documentation.
• Effective communication, leadership, and organisational skills, with the ability to oversee multiple projects and confidently engage with internal and external teams.
