Senior Automation Engineer with Team Responsibility (m/f/d)

Salary - CHF150,000 - 180,000

Role

In this role, you will take on the technical and disciplinary leadership of software development in a regulated environment within the pharmaceutical and chemical industries. You will be responsible for the strategic further development of the software landscape, manage complex development projects, and ensure compliance with quality and regulatory requirements. You will coordinate interdisciplinary teams, prioritize requirements, and make technological decisions that drive digital transformation. You will establish modern development processes and methods, promote best practices, and ensure efficient collaboration with interfaces such as quality assurance, production, and validation. Additionally, you will contribute to identifying and implementing innovations to continuously optimize software solutions and ensure their future viability.

Responsibilities

  • You will manage the PCS 7 portfolio and ensure its timely implementation
  • You will build up your engineering team and develop it professionally and personally
  • You will ensure the integration of templates & standards from the corporate environment
  • You will realize demanding GxP projects together with CSV
  • You will be responsible for operations, on-call duty, and quality and engineering standards

Qualifications

  • You have a degree in Automation, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science
  • You have sound experience with PCS 7 and relevant tools (CFC, SFC, SCL, WinCC)
  • You understand system architectures, networks, and OT structures
  • You have experience leading teams and actively develop employees
  • You communicate confidently in German and English
