Job Overview
Pay Range: $43.75hr - $48.75hr
- Perform functional testing and validation of electrical equipment to ensure product quality, safety, and compliance with industry standards.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to enhance testing processes and manufacturing efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Promote a safety‑first culture across all testing activities.
- Drive a zero test defect approach through quality‑focused execution.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues independently and implement effective solutions.
- Perform functional testing including insulation, Hi‑Pot, I/O verification, cooling system, and performance testing.
- Identify manufacturing issues and implement cost‑effective improvements.
- Participate in developing processes to ensure manufacturability and product quality.
- Develop test plans for inverters and electrical equipment.
- Prepare and maintain test reports using engineering templates.
- Communicate test design requirements to engineering teams.
- Ensure proper setup and dismantling of equipment following safety procedures.
- Provide test documentation for approval by engineering and manufacturing teams.
- Lead customer witness factory acceptance testing.
- Participate in third‑party certification testing.
- Develop reports to capture lessons learned and track performance metrics.
- Align test methods with industry standards such as IEC and UL.
Skills
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.

Qualification and Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required.
Experience

- Knowledge of IEC and UL standards preferred.
