Senior Aviation Data Analyst

Our client, a global leader in aviation technology, is looking for a highly skilled Senior Aviation Data Analyst to join their innovative remote team. This role is fully remote, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work from anywhere. You will be instrumental in analyzing complex aviation datasets to identify trends, optimize operations, and drive strategic decision-making. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining data models, performing statistical analysis, creating insightful reports and visualizations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate data into actionable business insights. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the aviation industry, including flight operations, safety, and maintenance. Proficiency in data mining, machine learning techniques, and relevant programming languages (e.g., Python, R, SQL) is essential. You will be expected to design and implement data-driven solutions to complex aviation challenges, such as predictive maintenance, fuel efficiency optimization, and air traffic flow management. The role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, and the ability to communicate technical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences effectively. Experience with big data platforms and cloud computing environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
