Senior Avionics Software Engineer - Embedded Linux

About Role

We are hiring for an advanced aerospace engineering environment focused on the development of secure, high-performance avionics and connected systems. This role offers hands-on experience in embedded Linux platforms, system architecture design, and mission-critical aerospace software development.

As a Senior Avionics Software Engineer, you will lead system-level design and software development for avionics platforms, ensuring compliance with stringent aerospace safety and cybersecurity standards. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative, scalable, and reliable solutions that shape the future of aerospace technology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain embedded Linux software using C/C++ for avionics systems
• Define and implement system architectures for secure and scalable avionics platforms
• Ensure compliance with aerospace certification standards such as DO-178C and DO-326A/356A
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver integrated solutions
• Validate system performance, reliability, and security through testing and analysis
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to engineering teams
• Support continuous improvement, debugging, and optimization of software systems

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related STEM field
• 6+ years of experience in embedded systems development
• 4+ years of experience working with embedded Linux platforms
• Strong proficiency in C/C++ programming
• Knowledge of secure system design, including TLS/SSL and key management
• Experience working in safety-critical or mission-critical environments
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
