Join a high-impact team at Client as we transition critical infrastructure from on-premises environments to the AWS Cloud. We aren't just looking for a coder; we are looking for a Seasoned Architect-Level Developer who has seen the evolution of the industry-from the days of monolithic Java to modern, event-driven Python architectures in the cloud.

The Mission

You will lead the charge in migrating legacy Java systems into a streamlined, AWS-native ecosystem. This involves writing clean, sophisticated Python code and leveraging serverless technologies to ensure a seamless transition for one of the world's most iconic airlines.

Technical Requirements

• Deep AWS Expertise: Extensive experience with AWS Cloud services. We are looking for specialists who live and breathe AWS (this is an AWS-exclusive environment).
• The Lambda Specialist: Exceptional proficiency in AWS Lambda is non-negotiable. You should have extensive experience building and scaling event-driven microservices.
• Polyglot Background: You are a Python expert (5+ years) who understands the DNA of Java. You can read, interpret, and decompose legacy Java code to rebuild it efficiently in Python.
• Industry Tenure: We are seeking a "Super Senior" with 14+ years of professional development experience, including at least 10 years of experience within the US market.

Core Competencies

• Python: 5+ years of recent, high-level development.
• Java: Strong foundational background; ability to navigate legacy enterprise codebases to facilitate migration.
• Cloud Migration: Proven track record of moving on-premise applications to AWS.
• DevOps Mindset: Comfortable with CI/CD pipelines, IAM roles, and cloud security best practices.
