About the role

Role Overview: As a Senior AWS DevOps & Cloud Engineer with 10-15 years of experience, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and supporting enterprise-scale AWS environments. You will work closely with global teams to ensure the scalability, security, and compliance of cloud solutions, focusing on AWS cloud infrastructure, DevOps automation, CI/CD, deployment management, and support operations.

Key Responsibilities: - Design, implement, and manage scalable and secure AWS architectures, leveraging core services such as Identity & Access Management, Compute & Load Balancing, Security, S3, Lambda, Databases, API Gateway, VPC, EKS, ECS, Route 53, CloudFormation, Storage Gateway, and Database Migration Service (DMS). - Plan and execute cloud migration strategies, including database migration using AWS-native tools and best practices. - Design and implement disaster recovery strategies and ensure compliance with RTO/RPO objectives. - Oversee daily cloud operations, including incident, change, and release management in alignment with ITIL processes. - Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, cost, and reliability. - Build and implement CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation, automate tasks, optimize resource usage, and manage containerized workloads. - Collaborate with data engineering teams to support and troubleshoot Snowflake pipelines integrated with AWS, assist with ETL workflow automation, and data transformation. - Implement robust IAM, RBAC, and secrets management practices, ensure adherence to regulatory standards, and participate in patch management and cybersecurity initiatives. - Prepare and maintain comprehensive deployment documentation, ensure version control, and auditability of deployment and infrastructure changes. - Partner with cross-functional teams, mentor junior engineers, advocate for DevOps best practices, and communicate effectively with global stakeholders.

Qualifications Required: Must-Have: - 10-15 years of hands-on experience in AWS cloud engineering, DevOps, and infrastructure designing and managing. - Expertise in AWS service offerings, CI/CD automation, configuration management, and automation using Python, Terraform, and YAML. - Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, ArgoCD, GitOps workflows, monitoring tools, Snowflake pipelines, AWS data integrations, and ITIL processes. - Excellent documentation and communication skills, willingness to work in the UK shift (1:30 PM to 10:30 PM IST).

Good to Have: - AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Professional / DevOps Engineer certification, experience in regulated industries, knowledge of AWS cost optimization, databases, Agile/Scrum, and GitOps practices.
