Senior Azure Cloud/DevOps Engineer

Position Information

Our client is seeking a talented Senior Azure Cloud/DevOps Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and support Azure infrastructure including VMs, networking, storage, and resource provisioning
• Host and support applications in Azure, including integration with identity services (SSO, MFA via Entra ID)
• Perform backup, recovery, patching, and performance tuning across Azure environments
• Automate administrative tasks using PowerShell and support CI/CD initiatives (Azure DevOps / GitHub)
• Provide Tier III support, including incident response, troubleshooting, and production issue resolution
• Assist with infrastructure improvements, monitoring, and overall cloud environment stability

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure infrastructure (VMs, networking, storage, resource management)
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and administration
• Experience deploying and supporting applications in Azure environments
• Working knowledge of identity and access management (SSO, MFA, Entra ID concepts)
• Experience with backup, recovery, and performance tuning in cloud environments
• Ability to operate in a broad, hands-on role across infrastructure and support
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub)
• Exposure to Power Platform / Power Automate
• Basic knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes exposure is a plus)
• Azure certifications (AZ-104, AZ-400, etc.)
