Senior Azure Solutions Engineer

You Have:

• 5+ years of experience in building software solutions using Azure within a secure framework.
• 3+ years of experience implementing Infrastructure as Code with Terraform.
• Proficiency in designing and automating cloud resources and Infrastructure as Code tools.
• Experience with Platform as a Service technologies.
• Hands-on knowledge of Azure Landing Zones deployment.
• Skills in implementing and developing Azure policies.
• Understanding of networking technologies such as DNS, load balancing, and TLS.
• Secret clearance mandatory.
• High school diploma or GED with 8+ years of software engineering experience, or a Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of experience.
• Able to obtain a DoD 8570 or 8140 IAT Level II Certification within 30 days of hire.

Nice If You Have:

• Familiarity with AWS or Google Cloud Platform.
• Knowledge of Azure Sentinel, Microsoft security, and related services such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Cloud Networking.
• Experience in containerization technologies, especially with Kubernetes.
• Experience in deploying and managing Azure Virtual Desktop via Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience with RedHat Enterprise Linux and command-line interfaces, including Bash.
• Competence in configuring Windows clients and servers, including Active Directory and Group Policies.
• Familiarity with Git and GitLab for version control.
• Top Secret clearance would be a plus.
• A Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Azure Architect Expert Certification is advantageous.

Clearance:

Applicants must undergo a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information; a Secret clearance is required.

Full-time and part-time employees working at least 20 hours per week are eligible for various benefits. Salary is competitive and commensurate with location, education, skills, and experience, with a projected range of $86,800 to $198,000 annually.

Work Model:

Our people-first culture promotes collaboration, whether in person or remotely. If this role is labeled as remote, occasional in-person work at a Booz Allen or customer facility may be required. For hybrid roles, working from a Booz Allen facility is expected, along with potential customer visits. If onsite, work will be primarily at a Booz Allen office or customer site, facilitating direct collaboration.
