You will integrate with SQL Server while navigating complex business logic and workflows. Ideal candidates will have profound .NET Core expertise, secure coding practices involving OAuth, and hands-on experience with CI/CD methodologies. Focus on backend delivery and collaboration with a dedicated QA team is key.

This is a contract-to-hire opportunity. Candidates must be willing to work on a W2 basis and are expected to convert to full-time employment after the contract duration. Responsibilities

• Enhance and support critical production applications.
• Implement new developments, enhancements, and maintenance in a C#/.NET environment.
• Work with intricate business logic and process-driven workflows.
• Design, build, and sustain secure, scalable backend services and APIs.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following best practices.
• Engage in unit testing and cooperate with a QA team for comprehensive application testing.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and solution design activities.
• Contribute to effort estimation, progress tracking, and project demos.
• Quickly adapt to internal frameworks, standards, and development processes.

Experience Requirements

• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong expertise in C# and .NET with deep hands-on experience in .NET Core.
• Familiarity with older .NET frameworks for legacy systems.
• Proficient in asynchronous programming.
• Experience in developing RESTful APIs.
• Knowledge of SignalR is a plus.
• Extensive experience integrating APIs with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Understanding of securing APIs and services using OAuth and secure coding practices.
• Comfortable working within a Microsoft-centric technology stack.
• Experience managing CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools is preferred.
