Senior Backend .Net Developer

About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend services using C#, .NET Core, and ASP.NET Core
- Build and support RESTful APIs and microservices
- Deploy, configure, and optimize applications on AWS EC2
- Work with AWS services including S3, RDS, CloudWatch, IAM, and load balancers
- Collaborate with front end developers using React for integration and feature delivery
- Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical planning
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across the application stack
- Ensure solutions meet security, compliance, and performance requirements common in financial systems
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automation efforts
Required Skills
- Senior level experience with C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET Core
- Strong understanding of backend architecture and design patterns
- Hands on experience deploying and managing applications on AWS EC2
- Experience with relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, etc.)
- Proficiency with Entity Framework Core
- Familiarity with Docker and CI/CD workflows
- Strong debugging, performance tuning, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience in finance or financial services environments
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of React
- Experience with AWS ECS, EKS, or Lambda
- Exposure to infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Experience with event driven architecture (SNS, SQS, Kafka)
- Background in automated testing frameworks
Work Environment / Additional Notes
- Backend focused role; React knowledge is helpful but not required
- Experience with secure, regulated environments (finance) is a plus
- Collaboration with cross functional engineering teams
