Your Responsibilities

• You develop and operate backend services within our "Analysis" domain in PHP (>= PHP 8.1) and ensure clear framework conditions: versioning, error codes, auth, performance
• You take over technical responsibility for our "Analysis" domain regarding service scope, standards, architectural decisions, and technical projects
• You work with our in-house developed PHP framework (fb-core)
• You ensure that changes are deployed quickly and safely to production: GitLab pipelines, test automation, minimal manual steps
• You make operations manageable: logs, metrics, tracing, monitoring
• Perspective Tech-Lead Analysis Domain: You shape technical discussions, coach colleagues, and maintain software architecture consistently across the analysis development team

Your Profile

Must-haves

• Senior experience in PHP web development: at least 5 years of experience in productive environments, ideally with PHP 8.1 in recent years
• You are proficient in Postgres: data modeling, migrations, indexing, query analysis
• Structured way of working: (code) reviews, tests, CI/CD, reproducible deployments are part of your daily routine
• You consider operations: monitoring & alerting, root cause analysis, clean fixes
• You can make and justify architectural decisions: service scope, dependencies, standards, documentation
• Agile working models (e.g., Scrum, XP) and DevOps principles (CALMS) are a matter of course for you

Nice-to-haves

• Solid practical experience with in-house developed, generative frameworks or platform components
• Initial responsibility as Tech-Lead: technical moderation, mentoring, alignment
• Proficient in managing technical projects (migrations, new developments, decommissioning)
• Experience or interest in learning Rust
