Responsibilities

• Design and develop highly scalable Scala services for efficient data processing and AI orchestration
• Create and maintain APIs and microservices to facilitate inference pipelines and model lifecycle processes
• Work closely with machine learning engineers to transition models into production-ready services
• Contribute to the overall system architecture, database designs, and automation of CI/CD workflows

Requirements

• Proficient in Scala with a solid foundation in Python
• Experience in building scalable backend services
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and API development
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure such as AWS
• Understanding of database design and management, particularly with Postgres
• Ability to collaborate effectively with machine learning engineers
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes
• Familiarity with tools like Docker and Kafka
