Senior Backend PHP Developer

To support the development of sophisticated products, the full-time Senior Backend PHP Developer will participate in design, implementation, and deployment activities, focusing on complex database solutions and REST API development in a remote environment. Key responsibilities Develop and maintain complex queries and REST APIs while solving intricate database problems in a high-volume environment Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, participate in code reviews, and propose system enhancements Implement testing strategies and support software quality assurance efforts to ensure functionality and design validation Required qualifications Associate degree in Computer Science or related field plus 5 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience 5+ years of experience in PHP, Object-Oriented Programming, and REST API development Proficiency in MySQL (Aurora) and MongoDB (DocumentDB), with strong ORM experience in Doctrine or Eloquent Experience with Symfony or Laravel frameworks and familiarity with Docker development environments Strong understanding of SDLC tools, techniques, and best practices
