Senior Blockchain Security Analyst

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Blockchain Security Analyst to join our innovative technology team in Minna, Niger, NG . Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive security assessments and audits of blockchain platforms, smart contracts, and decentralized applications (dApps). Identify, analyze, and report security vulnerabilities and risks, providing detailed remediation strategies. Develop and implement advanced security measures and protocols to protect blockchain networks and assets. Perform penetration testing and vulnerability scanning on blockchain infrastructure. Review smart contract code for security flaws and potential exploits. Monitor blockchain networks for suspicious activities and security threats, responding effectively to incidents. Collaborate with development teams to ensure security best practices are integrated into the software development lifecycle. Stay abreast of the latest trends, tools, and techniques in blockchain security and cybersecurity. Develop and maintain security documentation, policies, and procedures. Educate internal teams on blockchain security best practices and emerging threats. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a significant focus on blockchain security. In-depth knowledge of blockchain protocols (e.g., Ethereum, Bitcoin), smart contract development (e.g., Solidity), and related security principles. Experience with security auditing tools and techniques for blockchain technologies. Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in blockchain development (e.g., JavaScript, Python, Go). Strong understanding of cryptography, network security, and system security. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly. Experience with incident response and forensic analysis. Relevant security certifications (e.g., Certified Blockchain Security Professional, CISSP) are a plus.
