Senior Blockchain Solutions Architect

Our client, a pioneering technology firm operating at the cutting edge of decentralized solutions, is seeking a highly experienced and visionary Senior Blockchain Solutions Architect to join their globally distributed team. This is a fully remote position where you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and implementing innovative blockchain-based solutions for a diverse range of industries. Your responsibilities will include assessing client requirements, architecting robust and scalable blockchain systems, and providing technical leadership throughout the entire development lifecycle. You will leverage your deep understanding of blockchain protocols (e.g., Ethereum, Hyperledger Fabric, Solana), smart contract development, consensus mechanisms, and cryptography to create secure and efficient decentralized applications (dApps). A key aspect of your role will involve evaluating new blockchain technologies, recommending appropriate platforms, and ensuring solutions align with business objectives and industry best practices. You will collaborate closely with development teams, product managers, and business stakeholders to translate complex technical requirements into functional blockchain architectures. Strong communication and presentation skills are essential to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in software architecture, distributed systems, and cybersecurity, with a demonstrable track record of successfully delivering complex blockchain projects. Experience with tokenomics, DeFi, NFTs, or enterprise blockchain implementations is highly desirable. Responsibilities: Design and architect scalable, secure, and efficient blockchain solutions. Evaluate and recommend appropriate blockchain platforms and technologies. Develop comprehensive technical specifications and documentation for blockchain projects. Lead the development and implementation of smart contracts and decentralized applications (dApps). Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams. Assess and mitigate security risks associated with blockchain implementations. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements. Stay abreast of emerging blockchain trends, protocols, and industry developments. Contribute to proof-of-concept initiatives and technology evaluations. Ensure solutions adhere to industry standards and best practices. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. Minimum of 7 years of experience in software architecture, with at least 4 years focused on blockchain technology. Deep understanding of various blockchain protocols (e.g., Ethereum, Bitcoin, Hyperledger Fabric), consensus algorithms, and distributed ledger technology. Proven experience in designing and developing smart contracts (Solidity, Go, etc.) and dApps. Strong knowledge of cryptography, cybersecurity principles, and secure coding practices. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). Familiarity with tokenomics, DeFi, NFTs, and enterprise blockchain solutions. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills. Strong communication and presentation skills for effective stakeholder engagement. Ability to lead technical discussions and guide development teams in a remote setting. Experience in the Enugu, Enugu, NG region is not required but an understanding of local tech ecosystems is a plus.
