Our client, a leading Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) company, is seeking an experienced Senior Brand Manager to spearhead brand strategy and execution for a key portfolio of products. This role, based in Baltimore, Maryland, US, requires a dynamic and results-oriented individual with a passion for building strong consumer brands.
The Senior Brand Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive brand plans, including marketing strategies, product innovation, P&L management, and go-to-market execution. You will lead cross-functional teams, including R&D, sales, marketing communications, and supply chain, to ensure successful product launches and ongoing brand growth. Key responsibilities include conducting market analysis, identifying consumer insights, defining brand positioning, and developing integrated marketing campaigns across various channels (digital, traditional, in-store).
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the FMCG landscape, strong analytical skills to interpret market data and financial performance, and excellent leadership capabilities. You will manage significant brand budgets, drive profitable growth, and champion brand vision throughout the organization. Responsibilities
- Develop and execute integrated brand strategies and marketing plans.
- Drive P&L performance for assigned brands, including pricing and forecasting.
- Lead new product development and innovation initiatives from concept to launch.
- Conduct market research, analyze consumer insights, and identify growth opportunities.
- Develop and manage brand positioning, messaging, and creative strategies.
- Oversee the execution of marketing campaigns across all relevant channels.
- Collaborate with sales, R&D, and supply chain teams to ensure brand success.
- Manage brand budgets and track ROI of marketing investments.
- Monitor competitive activity and market trends to adapt brand strategies.
- Champion the brand vision and ensure consistent execution across all touchpoints.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- MBA preferred.
- 5-7 years of progressive brand management experience in the FMCG industry.
- Proven track record of successfully managing brands and driving profitable growth.
- Strong understanding of consumer insights, market research, and brand strategy development.
- Experience with P&L management and financial forecasting.
- Excellent project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and cross-functional team collaboration abilities.
- Proficiency in digital marketing, social media, and traditional advertising.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with IRI/Nielsen data analysis is a plus.
