Senior Business Analyst: in APM / Observability (DevOps Umfeld)

For our client in the transport industry in Bern, we are looking for an experienced and open-minded Senior Business Analyst in APM / Observability (DevOps Environment).

In this project, you will work on the further development of modern IT monitoring services and contribute to the stable and transparent operation of systems and applications. For the realignment of APM and observability solutions, an experienced personality is sought who can structure requirements, analyze them, and work together with various stakeholders on a future-proof solution.

Your Tasks:

• Analysis, collection, and validation of requirements in the area of IT monitoring / APM
• Conception and further development of a modern APM and observability tool stack
• Creation of specifications and tender documents for future solutions
• Close cooperation with stakeholders, business units, and technical teams
• Support in the evaluation and selection of APM tools (e.g., Grafana, Dynatrace, Elastic)
• Participation in a DevOps environment for continuous optimization of the monitoring landscape
• Ensuring transparency, stability, and efficiency of IT monitoring services

Your Profile:

• Several years of experience (min. 5 years) as a Business Analyst in the IT/DevOps environment
• Completed degree in computer science or comparable qualification
• Sound knowledge in requirements engineering as well as in the analysis of complex systems
• Experience with APM / Observability tools (e.g., Grafana, New Relic, Instana, Dynatrace, Elastic)
• Experience in agile development environments (e.g., Scrum or SAFe) is an advantage
• Technical understanding of modern IT architectures and monitoring solutions
• Experience in collaborating with interdisciplinary stakeholders
• Analytical, structured, and independent way of working
• Communicative personality with persuasive power
• Very good German and good English skills
