Key Responsibilities

  • Gather and maintain business and system requirements for mid to large enterprise applications.
  • Analyze financial business processes to assess impacts of system changes.
  • Evaluate financial data from legacy systems, determining mapping and migration strategies to the analytical platform.
  • Translate functional requirements into detailed technical specifications for the development team.
  • Test and validate developed artifacts from a Business Analyst's perspective.
  • Integrate financial datasets with related domains such as Logistics and Human Resources.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of business objectives to align architectural vision accordingly.
  • Conduct workshops to effectively understand customer data and business processes.
  • Prepare and deliver updates to clients and program leads regarding approach and implementation status.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Active DoD Secret level security clearance is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field.
  • Minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience.
  • Demonstrated expertise in business process analysis, enterprise solution implementations, and management consulting.
  • Experience leading financial requirements analysis workshops within the Federal government.
  • Ability to create functional designs and translate requirements into technical specifications.
  • Familiarity with SAP Financial datasets, including FICO, AP, AR, and Invoicing in a DoD environment.
  • Knowledge of SAP data elements across FICO and other modules such as MM and PP.
  • Hands-on experience with GFEBS.
  • Background as a Business Analyst with a focus on testing final products.
  • Proficiency in coding with Python/Pyspark and SQL.
  • Understanding of the Software/Systems Development Life Cycle and its various roles.
  • A proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work both independently and in a team.
  • Strong collaboration skills and active participation in team discussions.
  • Self-directed, driven personality with a commitment to mission success.
  • A strong desire to make a meaningful impact.
