Senior Business Analyst - Enterprise Systems

Our client is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior Business Analyst to join their technology team. This is a fully remote position, enabling you to contribute to critical enterprise system projects from anywhere. You will be responsible for bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions, defining requirements, analyzing data, and facilitating the implementation of enterprise systems such as ERP, CRM, or custom software. The ideal candidate possesses strong business acumen, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to translate complex business processes into functional system requirements. You will play a key role in ensuring that technology investments deliver maximum business value.

Responsibilities: Elicit, analyze, document, and validate business requirements for enterprise systems. Collaborate with stakeholders across various business units to understand their needs and challenges. Translate business requirements into detailed functional and technical specifications. Develop process flows, use cases, and user stories to represent system functionalities. Facilitate workshops and meetings with business users and technical teams. Support the design, development, testing, and implementation phases of system projects. Conduct gap analysis between current state processes and future state requirements. Assist in the creation of training materials and user documentation. Provide ongoing support and analysis for implemented systems. Identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements. Analyze data to support decision-making and identify trends. Work closely with project managers to ensure project scope, timelines, and deliverables are met. Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies related to enterprise systems. Perform user acceptance testing (UAT) coordination and support. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field. Minimum of 6 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, SCM, etc.). Proven experience in requirements elicitation, documentation, and management. Strong understanding of business processes across various functional areas (e.g., finance, operations, sales). Proficiency in business analysis tools and techniques. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple projects in a remote environment. Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies. Knowledge of specific enterprise systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Salesforce) is a plus. Experience in data analysis and reporting is advantageous.
