About The Role

Astral Solutions Group (ASG) is looking for a Senior Business Analyst who will play a strategic role in the implementation of EPM solutions.

Your Role

• Senior Business Analyst will act as a liaison between Clients and ASG Technical team.
• Understand Business requirements to develop EPM solutions.
• Document business requirements.
• Assess proposed solutions to determine which solution best fits the business need.
• Identify gaps and shortcomings in solutions, and determine necessary workarounds or changes to the solution.
• Prioritize and progressively elaborate stakeholder and solution requirements and acceptance criteria to enable the project team to implement a solution that will meet the needs of the sponsoring organization and stakeholders.
• Test the proposed solution to make sure align with business requirements.
• Contribute to User Acceptance Testing (UAT) efforts.
• Work closely with Project Manager, Business team and technical team.
• Identify, record, and ensure consistency and efficiency of business needs.
• Communicate solutions and obtain approval from stakeholders and experts.
• Guide the development and test teams in the search for solutions. Ensure that the requirements are understood and met.
• Translate the functional or user requirements into system concepts and system specifications including the determination and documentation of non‑functional requirements and technical constraints.
• Support team for development, testing and project management.

Qualifications

Your skills

• Bachelor in business administration, accounting, finance or computer systems management or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience working with EPM Systems like Hyperion, Oracle Cloud EPM, OneStream, Anaplan would be a major asset.
• Extensive knowledge of accounting and corporate finance. CPA designation is a major asset.
• 5 to 10 years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, Visio, Word and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of test management tools, project, and Visio.
