Senior Business Analyst

Mission Purpose

Within a project team operating in a collaborative and Agile mode, the Senior Business Analyst acts as an interface between business, data, and development teams. Their objective is to gather, analyze, and formalize functional needs, ensure a good understanding of data flows and business rules, and contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and tools. The position requires real ease with backend topics, particularly for understanding application flows, analyzing processing, investigating anomalies, and effectively communicating with technical teams.

Key Activities/Responsibilities

• Gather, challenge, and formalize business needs.
• Map and analyze end-to-end data flows and backend processing.
• Write user stories, technical-functional specifications, and acceptance criteria.
• Perform functional and technical analyses on backend processing, APIs, inter-application exchanges, and data.
• Investigate anomalies, identify root causes, and propose corrective actions.
• Evaluate the business value of reported tickets and contribute to their prioritization.
• Collaborate closely with developers, architects, data teams, and business stakeholders.
• Participate in acceptance testing, functional validation, and continuous improvement phases.
