The Role
We are seeking a strategic and commercially focused professional for a high-impact role as a Senior Business Analyst. This key position involves transforming complex business insights into actionable strategies that drive Lumen's growth across sectors such as Large Enterprise, Public Sector, Mid Markets, Wholesale, and Partnerships. The successful candidate will focus on achieving crucial targets, including Funnel, Sales, Revenue, and Seller Productivity. This position is tailored for an individual contributor who thrives in influencing and engaging with all organizational levels, from Senior Leadership to field teams.
Main Responsibilities
- Synthesize complex information into clear insights and develop executive-ready materials.
- Design and implement sales strategies and frameworks to support customer-facing teams.
- Conduct deep analyses of funnel health, conversion rates, productivity, and program effectiveness, pinpointing root causes and actionable improvements.
- Lead initiatives with accountability, overseeing multi-stakeholder workstreams with disciplined project management to deliver outcomes on time and in full.
- Influence and motivate decisions at the senior leadership level and throughout the field.
- Ensure the fulfillment of all deliverables, develop comprehensive project plans, and track measurable results against KPIs.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align Lumen programs with our sales and support methodologies.
- Act as a trusted advisor to commercial leaders, providing data-driven insights and actionable recommendations for complex business challenges.
What We Look For in a Candidate
- Bachelor's degree required; an MBA or equivalent is preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in management consulting, finance, telecommunications, sales, or related fields.
- Proven success in building and running commercial programs.
- Strong data analytics skills with a track record of delivering insights.
- Expertise in PowerPoint and Excel for making significant presentations.
- Ability to translate data into actionable insights effectively.
- Demonstrated capability to formulate and execute strategic initiatives.
- Excellent relationship-building skills with technical and business executives.
- Innovative problem-solver who thrives in ambiguous environments.
- Familiarity with all business functions, including sales, marketing, finance, and IT.
- Executive presentation skills are essential.
- Familiarity with Lumen's systems, tools, and processes is a plus.
- Data science background and knowledge of tools like SQL, Python, PowerBI, Palantir, and Databricks are desirable.
Compensation
The compensation range for this position, based on current national data, varies by location and is influenced by individual skills and experience.

$111,074 - $148,099
$116,364 - $155,152
