Key Responsibilities

• Senior Business Analysis Accountability (Technology Lead)

  • Full accountability of a Senior Business Analyst role, including ownership of requirements definition, functional design, stakeholder alignment, and delivery support, while operating from a technology and engineering function.
  • Single point of ownership for business to technology translation across complex Securities Services initiatives.

• Technology & Techno Functional Leadership

  • Lead end to end techno functional analysis and solution design for complex technology initiatives covering Custody, Corporate Actions, IPO processing, Share Registry, Fund Administration, Transfer Agency, Fund Registry, and Collateral Management.
  • Translate business strategy, regulatory requirements, and operating models into technology ready functional designs, system workflows, data models, and integration requirements.
  • Act as a technology aligned subject matter expert across the securities and fund lifecycle, including fund onboarding, subscriptions/redemptions, unit holder servicing, NAV related data flows, and transfer agency operations.

• Requirements, Design & Delivery

  • Elicit, analyse, validate, and document business, functional, technical, data, interface, and non functional requirements for technology delivery teams.
  • Produce functional specifications, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria aligned to target architecture and platform standards.
  • Work closely with architects, engineers, developers, QA teams, and vendors to ensure accurate implementation of requirements.
  • Support UAT, defect management, and business and technology sign off for releases.

• Stakeholder & Management Communication

  • Represent Technology and Analysis in discussions with senior business and operations stakeholders.
  • Communicate complex functional and technical topics clearly to senior management, steering committees, and regulators.
  • Provide structured updates on progress, risks, issues, and dependencies.

• Technology Transformation & Process Optimisation

  • Identify opportunities for automation, simplification, and straight through processing across custody, issuer services, fund administration, and transfer agency.
  • Contribute to target operating model, target architecture, and business case development from a technology perspective.

• Governance & Quality Assurance

  • Ensure requirements and functional documentation meet technology governance, architecture standards, and audit requirements.
  • Ensure solutions comply with regulatory, control, and technology risk standards.

Required Skills & Experience

• ✔️ 10+ years in Business Analysis / Techno-Functional roles
• ✔️ 5+ years in Securities Services / Fund Services (Custody, TA, Fund Admin, etc.)
• ✔️ Strong understanding of system architecture, integrations, and data flows
• ✔️ Experience with regulatory and large-scale transformation programs
• ✔️ Hands‑on with Jira, Confluence, Zephyr, MS Project
• ✔️ Exposure to AI‑driven analysis and automation is a plus
• ✔️ Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

Qualifications

Experience

• 10+ years of overall experience with at least 7+ years performing Senior Business Analyst / Techno Functional Engineer responsibilities within Banking or Financial Services.
• Minimum 5+ years delivering technology change within Securities Services and Fund Services, including Custody, Issuer Services, Share Registry, Fund Administration, Transfer Agency, Fund Registry, and Collateral Management.
• Proven experience delivering large scale regulatory and transformation programmes with significant technology and integration complexity.

Skills & Knowledge

• Strong technology‑led, senior business analysis capability.
• Strong understanding of securities, fund administration, and transfer agency processes.
• Solid understanding of system architecture, data models, integrations, and processing flows.
• Exposure to AI‑led efficiencies, including use of automation, analytics, and AI‑assisted tools to improve requirements analysis, documentation quality, testing efficiency, and delivery outcomes.
