Senior CAD to BIM Engineer

About

We are seeking an experienced CAD to BIM professional with strong expertise in converting complex 2D drawings into high-quality BIM models. The candidate will play a key role in project execution, coordination, and ensuring BIM standards are maintained across projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead conversion of 2D CAD drawings into detailed 3D BIM models (Architectural / Structural / MEP).
• Review and interpret complex drawings, specifications, and markups.
• Ensure BIM models meet project standards, LOD requirements, and client expectations.
• Manage and maintain Revit families, templates, and project standards.
• Perform clash detection and coordination using BIM tools.
• Generate shop drawings, BOQs, and construction documentation.
• Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders.
• Mentor junior engineers and review their work for quality assurance.
• Ensure timely delivery of projects with high accuracy.

Required Skills

• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and Autodesk Revit
• Strong knowledge of BIM workflows, LOD (Level of Development), and standards
• Experience in multidisciplinary projects (Architecture, Structure, MEP)
• Hands-on experience with Navisworks for coordination/clash detection
• Excellent understanding of construction drawings and detailing

Preferred Qualifications

• B.Tech / Diploma in Civil, Mechanical, or related field
• Experience in commercial, residential, hospital, or industrial projects
• Exposure to international BIM standards is an added advantage
