Unijobs on behalf of our public sector client has a requirement for a Senior Change Analyst.
This is a temporary position; the initial contract duration is for 12 months with the possibility of extension thereafter. This position is also working off a hybrid model, and the base location is in the Leinster area.
Based off a 35-hour work week the successful candidate will be employed as an agency employee and will be paid an hourly rate of €31.70 based off an annualised salary of €57,898 and will accrue 30 days’ annual leave per year along with public holidays.

Person Specific Requirements
- Service Management experience, particularly in the area of Service Transition/Change Management/Release Management.
- Ideally ITIL Foundation certified or commit to work towards certification
- Broad familiarity and experience with modern enterprise architecture from either a technical or service process perspective
- Experience with Office 365, SharePoint and Power BI.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Receive, log, and allocate a priority to change tickets
- Review logged normal and emergency change tickets and follow up with requestors and other change stakeholders to get change tickets ready for CAB approval
- Monitor standard change tickets and provide guidance to change requestors
- Collate and document all relevant data that support the Change Management Process and the knowledge management requirement for support and the business
- Provide support in complex problem-solving situations.
- Manage staff within their remit.
- Facilitate and participate in effective team meetings.
- Demonstrate pro-active commitment to all communications with internal and external stakeholders.
- Support data gathering and analysis activities, including process data gathering and tool development and support.
- Contribute to QA activities such as regular process reviews, compliance, monitoring, etc.
- Support the gathering and distribution of Process Metrics Reports.
- Support key process and project-related initiatives within the Service Transition function.
- Is an advocate for the Change Management function
- Provide support in carrying out ad-hoc Change Management tasks
- Collaboratively work with relevant parties to ensure all documentation and training material is compliant and up to date
- Change Management Operational Tool Sets – carry out administrative tasks required for Change Management day-to-day operations
- Focus on efficiency, improve quality of service, increase customer satisfaction, and reduce cost
- Be ITIL Certified in an accepted version or commit to work towards certification
- Experience with ITIL based disciplines
Eligibility Criteria
The successful applicant will have the following track record, capabilities and qualifications:
- At least 3 years’ experience in a large-scale, multi-vendor IT environment.
- Strong track record of analysing, designing and presenting organisational solutions to high-level management issues
- Excellent communication skills, including report writing and presentation skills.
- Ideally ITIL Foundation certified
- Evidence of practicing and promoting a strong focus on delivering high quality customer service
- Strong process background; Self-Motivated and is comfortable working unsupervised
- This position may be subject to Garda Vetting and Foreign Police Clearance, if applicable you will be required to obtain these prior to commencing in this role*
