Our client, a renowned international charity organization dedicated to making a positive impact on global communities, is seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Charity Program Manager to lead impactful initiatives from a fully remote position. This role is central to designing, implementing, and overseeing various charitable projects, ensuring they meet their objectives, align with the organization's mission, and adhere to strict ethical and financial standards. Responsibilities: Lead the design, development, and implementation of new charitable programs and projects in line with organizational mission and strategic goals. Oversee the entire lifecycle of assigned programs, from initial conception and needs assessment to execution, monitoring, and evaluation. Manage program budgets effectively, ensuring responsible financial stewardship and timely reporting to donors and stakeholders. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with beneficiaries, community leaders, partner organizations, and donors. Develop and implement robust monitoring and evaluation frameworks to track program progress, measure impact, and identify areas for improvement. Prepare comprehensive reports for internal stakeholders, donors, and regulatory bodies, highlighting program achievements and challenges. Lead and mentor a remote team of program officers and field staff, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented work environment. Ensure compliance with all relevant legal, ethical, and grant-specific requirements. Identify potential funding opportunities and contribute to grant writing and proposal development. Facilitate knowledge sharing and best practices across programs and teams. Organize and lead virtual meetings, workshops, and training sessions for program staff and stakeholders. Utilize project management software and communication tools to ensure effective remote collaboration and oversight. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in International Development, Social Sciences, Public Administration, Non-profit Management, or a related field. A Master's degree is highly desirable. Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in program management within the non-profit or charity sector. Demonstrated success in managing complex projects from inception to completion. Proven experience working effectively in a remote or hybrid work environment, and managing remote teams. Strong understanding of international development principles, humanitarian aid, or specific programmatic areas relevant to the organization. Excellent grant management, budgeting, and financial oversight skills. Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. Experience in stakeholder engagement, including donors, beneficiaries, and partner organizations. Proficiency in monitoring and evaluation methodologies and impact assessment. Strong leadership qualities and the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team. Proficiency in project management software and virtual collaboration tools. Ability to think strategically and solve complex problems in a dynamic environment.
