For its Madrid based office, our client, an international Financial Services structure, is currently looking for a:

Senior Client Accountant (m/f)

As a Senior Client Accountant, you will be part of the local and collaborative accounting team. You will work under the supervision of the Business Unit Manager and will be responsible for the accounting of client companies within your assigned portfolio, focusing on a specific client sector, as well as supervising junior roles.

Responsibilities - Accounting, reporting, and invoicing for multiple companies - Bank reconciliations, preparation and submission of tax filings and SII, preparation and review of annual accounts - Corporate and accounting services - Prepare all types of accounts, payments, cash flow, reports, financial statements, cash position, and fiscal position for client companies - Prepare regulatory reports for third parties - Maintain accounting ledgers and supporting documentation - Assist with audits by providing required information - Lead, review, and execute client financial administration - Monitor cash flow: analyse, reconcile cash movements, and review responses/evidence for inconsistencies and data-based findings - Prepare and review conversion of financial statements from other GAAPs to Spanish GAAP or vice versa - Reconcile approved investments, purchase documents, etc., with cash movements - Prepare and review cash management, including bank account management and payment instructions - Prepare consolidated financial statements - Obtain accounting information for tax filings and prepare tax submission files for STA - Analyse, review, and submit various tax filings - Review, inspect, and analyse different tax filings - Manage team workload, monitor quality and quantity of team members - Train team members - Prepare and review financial reports for clients, such as periodic balance sheets, profit & loss accounts, and annual accounts Le profil recherché

Profile - Minimum of 6 years of experience in a similar role within a multi-client company - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Business Administration - Strong English proficiency (B2/C1) to communicate fluently with clients - Good presentation skills - Attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple demands in a fast-paced environment - Ability to manage multiple projects/tasks effectively, meet deadlines, and work well under pressure - Proactive approach to daily tasks and a team-oriented mindset - Desire to work with different cultures Bienvenue chez Sofitex
