As a Senior Cloud AI Platforms Engineer, you'll leverage your expertise to enhance our award-winning culture while working on pivotal projects for Hilton's Data Science, Distribution, and Call Center teams.

Your Daily Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of Cloud AI Platform Engineers as the go-to technical expert.
• Maintain clear communication with team members to ensure projects are delivered on time.
• Identify and implement opportunities for AI and ML automation in cloud infrastructure, enhancing configuration management, monitoring, and alerting solutions.

Collaboration and Support:

• Support and enhance Hilton's Cloud AI and ML platforms, covering application development, prompt engineering, data engineering, and deployment strategies.
• Provide escalation support for Hilton's Hybrid Cloud environment and collaborate with engineering teams to uphold Hilton standards and processes.
• Offer expert guidance on security policies and vulnerability management within the cloud environment.

Key Projects:

• Consult various business and application teams on AI and ML cloud patterns, developing robust solutions using Infrastructure as Code (IAC) tools and other cloud technologies.
• Assist with the deployment of workloads into advanced AWS services such as Bedrock, SageMaker Studio, OpenSearch, and beyond.

Qualifications for Success

Required Skills:

• Minimum of five (5) years in Technology or a related field.
• At least two (2) years of professional experience in Machine Learning, AI, or Data Science.
• Proficient in AWS cloud architecture and its core services, with a focus on AI and ML capabilities.
• Familiar with AWS Bedrock, SageMaker AI, LLMs, and various cloud machine learning technologies.
• Experience in containerization, Kubernetes, and CI/CD automation processes.
• Strong background in cloud platform engineering with tools like Terraform and AWS Command Line.
• Solid understanding of cloud security and networking concepts.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Seven (7) years of professional experience in Data Science or related fields.
• FinOps certifications.
• Familiarity with AI and ML technologies and best practices.
