Role

In this role, you will develop sophisticated design principles for Azure cloud platforms and support their technical implementation. You will be responsible for conducting customer workshops and contribute to the further development of modern service portfolios and the underlying platforms. You will continuously analyze new Azure Cloud Services, evaluate their benefits, and share your knowledge in a structured manner. Additionally, you will contribute your expertise in areas such as Compute, PaaS, Security, Networking, and Infrastructure as Code to realize sustainable cloud solutions. Together with an agile cloud team, you will design end-to-end solution architectures in the spirit of DevOps and ensure their reliable operation.

Responsibilities

• Development of design principles for cloud platforms and support in engineering
• Conducting customer workshops and consulting on cloud architectures
• Further development of the service portfolio and underlying platforms
• Analysis of new Azure Services and active knowledge transfer within the team

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in the Microsoft Azure environment (Consulting & Engineering)
• Sound knowledge of Compute, PaaS, Security, and Networking
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and scripting (Bash, Python, PowerShell)
• Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification and very good German and English skills
