Senior Cloud Architect - Remote Infrastructure Design

You will be instrumental in designing, building, and managing scalable, resilient, and secure cloud infrastructures that power our cutting-edge applications and services. This role demands a deep understanding of cloud-native architectures, extensive experience with major cloud providers, and a strategic vision for future infrastructure development.

Responsibilities: Design and implement robust, highly available, and cost-effective cloud solutions on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible. Architect and deploy containerization solutions using Docker and Kubernetes. Ensure the security and compliance of cloud environments through best practices in access control, data protection, and vulnerability management. Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to define cloud strategy and roadmap. Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and provide timely resolution. Optimize cloud resource utilization and implement cost-saving measures. Stay abreast of emerging cloud technologies and trends, evaluating their potential impact and applicability. Develop and document architectural standards, guidelines, and best practices. Lead and mentor junior engineers on cloud best practices and solution design. Participate in on-call rotation for critical infrastructure support. Automate cloud provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes. Conduct performance analysis and capacity planning for cloud environments. Evaluate and integrate third-party cloud services and tools. Contribute to the continuous improvement of CI/CD pipelines within the cloud ecosystem. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. 7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, with at least 5 years focused on cloud architecture and engineering. Proven expertise in designing and deploying enterprise-level solutions on AWS, Azure, or GCP. Strong proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible). Extensive experience with container orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker Swarm). Deep understanding of networking concepts, security principles, and database technologies within cloud environments. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack). Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to lead technical projects and influence technical direction. Experience in hybrid and multi-cloud environments is a plus. Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices.
