For our Data Analytics Team, we are looking for a Senior Data Analytics Engineer (d/m/w) as soon as possible, who confidently combines technology, methodology, and communication.

In this role, you will combine technical engineering know-how with methodical clarity and communicative strength. As part of the team, you will build our central data platform – the basis for all data analytics use cases in the company. You will work closely with specialist departments, data scientists, and developers, translate requirements into scalable data solutions, and ensure the quality, security, and sustainability of our data landscape.

You know how to connect technical and business perspectives: you moderate interdisciplinary coordination, structure complex contexts, and ensure that data-driven decisions in the company are implemented practically, understandably, and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Building and further developing a scalable, secure data platform as the foundation for current and future data analytics applications
• Conception, implementation, and operation of robust data processes and data-driven services
• Development and maintenance of data pipelines to ensure high data quality and reliable supply for data scientists
• Administration of user and data management within the platform
• Evaluation and introduction of modern database solutions, tools, and frameworks
• Ensuring compliance, security, and stability standards
• Active participation in agile processes, communication interface between technology and specialist departments

Qualifications

• Experience in moderation, stakeholder communication, and requirements engineering
• Understanding of agile working methods (e.g., Scrum) and cross-organizational work
• Strong communication skills in German (at least C1)
• Proactive, solution-oriented thinking and interdisciplinary collaboration
• Ability to quickly grasp complex contexts, structure them, and communicate them understandably
• Very strong DevOps competencies (Git, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, Docker)
• Sound experience in data modeling and cloud infrastructures (e.g., AWS)
• Knowledge of SQL, TypeScript, and Python

Nice-to-have: Experience with Infrastructure as Code, MLOps, and Big Data technologies (e.g., Hadoop)
