Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer to join our fully remote team. You will be responsible for managing and optimizing our cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP), implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation, and establishing robust CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, along with experience in monitoring and logging solutions like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or Datadog. You will also play a key role in troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues, performing root cause analysis, and implementing preventative measures. Collaboration is key, and you will work closely with development, QA, and security teams to ensure seamless integration and operation.

Responsibilities: Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure. Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated application deployment. Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform. Deploy, manage, and orchestrate containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes. Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems. Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues in production environments. Automate operational tasks and processes to improve efficiency. Collaborate with development and security teams to ensure best practices are followed. Conduct performance tuning and capacity planning. Participate in on-call rotations as needed. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or a related role. Proven experience with major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP). Strong proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash). Expertise in Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation). In-depth knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes). Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI). Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog). Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively in a remote environment.
