Meaningful Work and Personal Impact

• Provide support to the Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Ordnance Information System (OIS) and provide technical expertise on a mission-critical program.
• Work in highly technical environments collaborating with top talent.
• Key member of the OIS Cloud/DevSecOps team contributing to a major Navy modernization effort.
• Enhance mission readiness and operational effectiveness across the fleet.
• Provide hands-on cloud engineering support across development, integration, testing, and operations for complex cloud-based applications.
• Lead system engineering activities including requirements analysis, architecture design, technical assessments, and interface standards development.
• Partner with customer Product Owners to develop engineering documentation using GitLab Ultimate, Azure DevOps, and other tools.
• Serve as primary technical liaison between NAVSUP OIS and third-party cloud broker (NAVAIR).
• Guide Agile and DevSecOps best practices across the portfolio (SAFe, Scrum, Kanban).
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, enforce tool and process standardization, and ensure compliance with Navy security standards.
• Support installation, configuration, testing, and sustainment of operating systems, application stacks, and system management tools.
• Strengthen system performance, availability, security, and resilience through engineering practices, documentation, and automation.

What You'll Need to Succeed

• Active Top Secret clearance.
• 8+ years of cloud engineering and architecting enterprise IT solutions experience.
• Extensive experience with Terraform, Ansible, Java, J2EE, Oracle, WebLogic, Tomcat, and AWS cloud services.
• Experience with Jenkins, GitLab Ultimate, Jira, Nexus, Maven, OpenShift, SonarQube, Fortify, Junit, Karma, Selenium, Cyprus, Docker, Artifactory.
• Expertise in systems engineering including requirements analysis and system architecture design.
• Ability to liaise with government, vendors, and IT personnel for problem resolution.
• Experience in network and cyber security design, engineering, and operations with emphasis on Navy capabilities.
• Experience developing models using Sparx EA, Splunk, MuleSoft, SalesForce.
• Experience with NIST SP 800 series or ISO 27000 series for information security management and risk assessment.
• Experience with Angular, ReactJS, Spring MVC, JQuery, JSF, JSP, MyBatis, Hibernate, IBM MQ, Kafka, ELK, or PLSQL.
• Experience with server virtualization technologies such as VMware, Citrix, or Hyper-V.
• Experience with RedHat Linux and Windows Server operating systems.
• Experience in ITIL, ISO20000 / ISO27001 implementations.
• At least one nationally recognized vendor certification.
• Navy experience.
• Strong verbal and written technical communication skills.
• Certifications: 8570.1/8140 - IAT II CompTIA Security+ CE; AWS Certified Solutions Architect or similar (must obtain within 6 months if not held).
• Education: BS/BA Degree.
• US Citizenship required.

Work Location

• Mechanicsburg, PA or Yorktown, VA.
