We are looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer to enhance our cloud platform team, supporting government clients within secure cloud environments. This role is critical for designing, implementing, and managing large-scale cloud infrastructures in a rapid, agile setting. With a strong focus on DevOps, you will leverage automation, CI/CD pipeline development, and infrastructure-as-code practices to enable swift and secure service delivery.

What You'll Need:

• 5 years of experience in cloud engineering and infrastructure.
• Proven track record in designing and implementing secure cloud architectures for enterprise or government settings.
• Expertise in Infrastructure as Code and DevOps methodologies.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies.

Bonus Points if You Have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• Background in systems engineering, networking, and security.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM templates, or Ansible.
• Experience in enterprise-scale cloud architecture design and implementation.
• Hands-on experience with GitOps and CI-CD automation.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration methods.
• Understanding network architecture including VPC design, hybrid connectivity, security groups, and load balancing.
• Experience in Identity and Access Management across cloud platforms.
• Skills in CI/CD pipeline development and automation.
• Proficiency in Linux/Unix system administration and automation practices.
• Expertise in configuration management and infrastructure automation.
• Experience implementing monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.
• Ability in performance optimization and troubleshooting techniques.
• Solid foundation in database administration and data management.
• Experience with security hardening and compliance implementations.
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
• Skills in API integration and automation development.
• Knowledge of version control systems like Git and collaborative development efforts.

Clearance:

• Must currently hold an active Secret clearance; TS clearance preferred.

Accenture Federal Services provides competitive compensation based on various factors, including office location and level of experience. For this position, the salary range is between $91,300 and $184,900 USD.
