Senior Cloud Engineer

About

You will design and implement scalable, secure cloud architectures and frameworks for hybrid and multi-cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud infrastructures focusing on networking, uptime, and disaster recovery.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD automation in collaboration with DevOps teams.
• Manage containerized workloads using Kubernetes and service mesh integrations.
• Implement secure deployment practices through GitOps, automated scanning, and compliance-as-code.
• Establish IAM frameworks, RBAC, and secrets management across cloud platforms.
• Define governance structures for resource organization, tagging standards, and audits.
• Optimize cloud spend using FinOps methodologies and cost management practices.

Required Skills

• 8–12+ years of experience in IT with at least 5 years focused on cloud architecture.
• Mandatory advanced hands-on experience with AWS.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools including Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi, or AWS CDK.
• Strong experience with Kubernetes (EKS/AKS/GKE) and microservices design.
• Hands-on knowledge of CI/CD processes, GitOps, and DevSecOps practices.
• Experience with compute (VMs, containers, serverless), networking, storage, and IAM.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Azure cloud platforms.
