Senior Azure Cloud Engineer (m/f/d)

About

For our client from the banking sector in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Azure Cloud Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Engineering and operation of cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure
• Design, operation, and optimization of AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service) clusters
• Implementation and further development of DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
• Support in architectural decision‑making in cloud and container environments
• Automation of infrastructure and deployments (Infrastructure as Code)
• Ensuring stability, scalability, and security of the platform

Requirements

• Several years of experience as a Cloud Engineer / Cloud Architect in the Azure environment
• In‑depth knowledge of Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and container orchestration
• Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar)
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, Bicep, ARM Templates)
• Strong knowledge of cloud architecture, networking, and security in Azure
• Experience in operating and scaling cloud‑native applications
• Fluent English is mandatory
