We are looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer (M365 & Azure) (m/f/d) for our Dortmund location, in the Infrastructure & Communications department, Global IT Infrastructure & Services division, starting immediately.

Location: Dortmund / North Rhine-Westphalia

Responsibilities

• Responsibility for the secure, stable, and high-performance operation of the cloud and hybrid system landscape in conjunction with an international IT team
• Configuration and administration of Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure (including SharePoint, OneDrive, Power Platform, Azure Files)
• Further development and operation of Active Directory / Entra ID, including Conditional Access, Security, and Identity Protection policies
• Implementation, maintenance, and optimization of the Microsoft Defender Suite as well as Purview configuration and labeling in hybrid environments
• Automation of operational processes using PowerShell, Azure CLI, and relevant automation tools
• Participation in the expansion of the Azure Networking and Security architecture (vNets, VPN Gateway, NSG, Defender for Cloud)
• Design and implementation of Zero Trust, MFA, and cloud security concepts
• Creation, maintenance, and enforcement of technical documentation and binding infrastructure standards

Requirements

• Successfully completed university degree (preferably Business Informatics or similar) or completed vocational training in the IT field
• Several years of experience in Microsoft-based cloud environments in a corporate context
• Sound knowledge in the administration of M365, Azure, and hybrid identity solutions
• Practical experience with modern cloud security approaches, especially Zero Trust and MFA
• Basic understanding of Azure Cost Management, RBAC, and governance structures
• Additional qualifications through relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., AZ-104, MS-102, SC-300, SC-401) are an advantage
• Ideally, knowledge of ISO 27001 and experience with antivirus solutions in cloud environments
• High precision in technical documentation and consistent application of defined standards
• Very good written and spoken German and English skills
