What awaits you

• You will take on a key role within the team: You will design sophisticated data platforms and further develop Snowflake as a strategic data platform at Exxeta - technically, methodologically, and organizationally.
• Conceive and implement scalable data pipelines (batch & streaming) in cloud environments and develop future-proof data architectures (e.g., Lakehouse, ELT, streaming, and event-driven architectures).
• You will develop best practices, reference architectures, and technical blueprints around Snowflake and pass on your expertise to your colleagues in internal training, reviews, sparring sessions, etc.
• As a technical contact person and project lead for Snowflake, you will actively expand the offering and work on go-to-market approaches.
• You will also contribute your expertise in offer conception and in technical customer meetings.
• You will work closely with our customers at eye level and accompany them from strategy to implementation.

What we expect from you

• Personal Background: You have several years of professional experience in data engineering, ideally in consulting or platform projects, and already take responsibility for projects and subject areas.
• Tech Skills: You have built expertise in Snowflake and are proficient in platform fundamentals of data modeling, performance, cost optimization, security, and governance.
• Data Tooling: You thrive with big data and streaming tools like Apache Spark and Kafka, orchestration frameworks (e.g., Apache Airflow, Dagster), and container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Look at Clouds: You are enthusiastic about cloud solutions, especially AWS or Azure, as well as infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or AWS CDK.
• Mindset: Drive and the desire to build a topic sustainably, to involve people, and to take responsibility characterize you. You work independently, have strong conceptual skills, and convince with your confident demeanor.
• On the road: You are willing to travel and flexible to advise our customers on-site nationwide.
• Let's talk: You speak fluent German and English - great, then you will feel right at home at Exxeta.
