Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Oxford Solutions is working with a client to hire a Senior Azure Cloud Infrastructure Engineer for a contract-to-hire opportunity (6-8 months). This hybrid role offers the chance to work with modern Azure technologies in a collaborative environment, with strong potential for long-term growth.Responsibilities:Support and optimize Azure cloud infrastructure across compute, networking, and storageConfigure and troubleshoot Azure networking (VNets, VPNs, load balancers, firewalls)Deploy and manage virtual machines and container-based environments (AKS, Docker)Monitor system performance using Azure tools and resolve issues as neededAutomate deployments using Terraform, ARM templates, PowerShell, or Azure CLIPartner with DevOps and security teams to improve system performance and securityQualifications:Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience10+ years of IT experience, including 5+ years working with AzureStrong experience with Azure infrastructure, networking, and virtual machinesExperience with containers (AKS/Docker) and cloud storage solutionsFamiliarity with automation tools (Terraform, PowerShell, or similar)Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsPreferred:Experience with hybrid cloud environmentsKnowledge of cloud security tools or zero trust conceptsAzure certifications (AZ-104, AZ-305)This is a hybrid contract-to-hire role.
