Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Our client, a leading innovator in cloud-native solutions, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join their dynamic, fully remote team. This role is critical in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure that powers our cutting-edge applications. You will be instrumental in shaping our cloud strategy, driving automation, and ensuring operational excellence across all cloud environments.

Responsibilities: Design, build, and maintain robust cloud infrastructure on AWS/Azure/GCP platforms. Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated application deployment and infrastructure provisioning. Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions for optimization. Ensure security best practices are applied throughout the infrastructure lifecycle, including vulnerability management and access control. Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum uptime. Collaborate with development and operations teams to foster a DevOps culture and drive continuous improvement. Document infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers. Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and industry trends. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering, with a strong focus on AWS, Azure, or GCP. Proven experience with IaC tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation. Hands-on experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell. Solid understanding of networking concepts, security principles, and operating systems (Linux/Windows). Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack). Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
