Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer – HPC / Kubernetes / Distributed Systems

A top-tier quantitative trading firm is seeking a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to help build and scale next-generation compute infrastructure powering large-scale research, trading, and distributed workloads.

This team operates at the intersection of high-performance computing, cloud infrastructure, and low-latency engineering, supporting some of the industry’s most advanced systematic trading environments.

What You’ll Do

• Architect and scale high-performance cloud infrastructure for compute-intensive workloads
• Build and automate Kubernetes-based platforms and CI/CD pipelines
• Design optimized networking and storage environments for distributed systems
• Lead large-scale infrastructure migrations across on-prem and cloud environments
• Partner closely with research and engineering teams to improve compute efficiency and platform scalability
• Drive automation, observability, and infrastructure-as-code initiatives

What They’re Looking For

• 5+ years of infrastructure, cloud, or platform engineering experience
• Strong Linux systems and cloud engineering background
• Expertise with Kubernetes, Terraform, and Infrastructure as Code
• Strong scripting/programming experience in Python, Bash, or Go
• MUST HAVE - HPC, distributed systems, or large-scale compute environments
• Strong understanding of networking, storage architectures, and performance optimization
